Shoot Camp
Shoot Camp is jammed pack with training sessions to maximize your shooting skills. This four-week program consists of two one-hour sessions per week for a total of eight training sessions. This class is designed for shooters at any level, our instructors will establish a baseline on your first session, and you will be able to test your improvements at the end of the eight training sessions. Our method of instruction will improve your skills no matter how proficient you are, and you will see the results. Shoot Camp sessions will take your marksmanship to the next level.

4 August, 2023Absolutely loved this course! I came in to the program with a fairly extensive experience and knowledge of firearms, with the goal of having outside input to help hone my fundamentals. Bill taught most of the classes and as always he absolutely rules. Truly awesome guy. I shot the pre-test 46/50, and then at the end shot 47/50, but over the course of class I absolutely learned a lot in regards to fundamentals so that over time I can improve as a shooting sportsperson! On one hand it’s a great deal to be able to get as much range time as we do in this class and with the added instruction on top of that it’s a fantastic experience! I’ve considered taking it again with a different handgun (without a red dot) just for the sake of doing so!

9 September, 2022My son was starting Criminal Justice classes in the Fall and Shoot Camp was a great way to support his career choice and start him out with proper instruction. Instructor Bill provided a very safe and informative environment for the entire class. Our class spent a great deal of the time in the shooting range area and Instructor Bill was very clear on safety and technique and made the class enjoyable and exhilarating. Our instructor was very helpful with everything we were learning and made everyone feel comfortable regardless of their skill level. My son and I couldn't wait for our next class. We would arrive to Fireline early and stay after to learn and ask questions. Every staff member was more than willing to help with any and all questions and we were never made to feel like we were asking a bad question. WE WILL BE TAKING MORE CLASSES !!!

31 Jan, 2020I am so happy I did Shoot Camp. There were a couple of fundamentals I was not aware of or thought I understood, which this training clarified. The course showed me where and how to improve. And these made a big difference in my shooting consistency. Improvement in my shooting had stalled until I took this class. Brandon, the instructor, watched me while I shot and saw what needed improvement and then coached me on how to do it right. And it worked. You will also get ideas on how to design your dryfire and range practice, so you are not just wasting ammo while you repeat the same old bad habits.

4 Jan, 2020Very well organized. Concentrate on one subject/technique each class. Curriculum was well organized and no "fluff". The instructor was thorough and answered all questions and was very helpful. This is an excellent class to follow the intro class and build both skills and confidence.

2 Jan, 2020I was encouraged to try out Shoot Camp 1.0 by a friend. I consider myself an experienced shooter and I was a bit hesitant to take, what I initially considered, an entry level course. After completing Shoot Camp 1.0 it was evident that this class caters to shooters of all abilities and skill levels. I learned a number of new drills that I can use at the range to continue to improve as a shooter. I strongly recommend this class regardless of your skill level. They have also recently "rolled" out Shoot Camp 2.0 which I will take in the near future. Fireline Shooting and Training Center is by far the best indoor shooting range in the Fox Valley.

27 May, 2020This class really helped me clean up bad habits that prevent consistent accuracy. I also felt more confident shooting faster. The twice a week format helps get more trigger time than usual and the drills focused on one aspect of the shooting cycle at a time.

31 July, 2020Shoot Camp was OUTSTANDING! I came into the camp being a little rusty as I haven't shot much since I was in Iraq. I could hold a respectable pattern coming in to the class, but the training and coaching brought the shot group in much tighter consistently. Every class was something new and challenging. The instruction was top notch! Highly recommended!!

11 Aug, 2020As new handgun owners, my wife and I took the two day Shoot Camp and we were incredibly impressed. The class helped us diagnose problems with our technique and taught us drills we can use to improve on our own. The class was filled with so much information that our plan is to practice for several months then take the class again. It was that good! Perhaps the best thing about Fireline is the professionalism of their instructors and the rest of the team. Like all good professionals, they don't have a political agenda or talk down to you. They are experts at teaching you the skills you need to become a responsible gun owner and make you feel comfortable and welcome, regardless of your skill level. Although there are ranges and classes much closer to our home, we make the 90 minute drive to Fireline because we've found them to be the best at what they do in Wisconsin.

30 Oct, 2020As a relatively new handgun owner with several years of rifle experience I was eager to learn more about proper handgun use. I had previously attended NRA Basic Pistol and Introduction to Handguns at Fireline, so with the input of the team at Fireline enrolled in Shoot Camp as the next step in my training. The summary of course couldn't be more accurate: "This class is designed for shooters at any level, our instructors will establish baseline on your first session, and you will be able to test your improvements at the end of the eight training sessions". You should not have any reservations about enrolling in this course as it will be catered to your skill level and we had a great mix of novice and experienced shooters, as well as young, mature, female and male students. What a great group of individuals! First and foremost was safety; the instructor, Brandon, ensured all attendees were aware of and observed the rules of firearm safety. Session 1 tested your current shooting accuracy; Sessions 2 - 6 had drills to increase your proficiency and you receive immediate feedback on those drills; Session 8 tested your accuracy again. Using the process of "What did I learn?, What worked? What are my questions?" was a great way to reflect on each session and use that information to improve. Over the four weeks, Brandon was able to diagnose errors I was making and offer corrective action. As the saying goes "The proof is in the pudding" and I saw improvements in multiple areas such as accuracy, time on target and increased speed transitioning between targets. Considering the amount of range time and professional instruction that is received, the price of tuition was a bargain. Every aspect of the course was done in a very professional manner, and all attending the class appeared to be having their fair share of fun. I would highly recommend Shoot Camp.

26 Jun, 2021I just finished up the 4 week class "Shoot Camp" Our instructor was excellent, showing expertise, humor and good-naturedness. I got into target pistol shooting about a year ago. Starting on our first night I learned that I needed to unlearn bad techniques and learn some new ones. The format for the class is great for beginners who've never shot a pistol before, and for folks who've been shooting a while. The showroom is beautiful. I recently made a purchase and the sales staff were helpful and were great in answering questions. Never do they make you feel condescended to ... even with basic questions. Highly recommend 5 stars. And by the way... I improved my accuracy and speed by participating in the class.

17 Sep, 2021Having started handgun shooting a few years ago, viewing various websites for instruction to learn to shoot better, it was time for face to face learning. I had taken a few basic courses and the concealed carry class for Wisconsin, Minnesota and Florida at Fireline. The instruction at each class was very good and helpful. My reason for taking Shoot Camp was to increase my accuracy and speed with my firearms. It had been recommended by a number of new friends I've met since becoming a member at Fireline. Over a total of 8 classes that started with some basics and increased in difficulty, drills were used to increase and improve our proficiency. There was definite improvement from the start of the class. People of various levels of handgun use were in the class. I would highly recommend Shoot Camp.

01 Oct, 2021Regardless of your skill level, you will find something to learn in this class. The course is well laid out and designed to improve each shooters issues. The progression is easy to understand and builds on the previous lessons. The instructors are able to teach to each shooters level while still giving all other shooters in the class the same attention so they can progress and learn what they each need. The skills that they teach are skills that will work over time and continue to help your shooting improve. This is as close to one on one instruction you can find while in a class setting. This course has helped me improve the basics and the finer points and given me ways to learn at home and the range. This was a fun and interesting course taught by very qualified instructors in a very nice facility. Thanks Fireline.

07 Dec, 2021I highly recommend this course. Though I have been shooting a pistol for quite sometime now I though it would be a good idea to learn something new and improve my skills. I must say, I certainly learned way more than I anticipated. All aspects of what I was doing have been improved. The various skills like grip, stance, presentation and proper shooting techniques were all things I realized I needed to improve. Our instructor did an amazing job helping us learn while not pounding his chest and intimidating us. I learned so much in this course that I will be taking it again very soon. Now I can take what I have been taught the first time and build off of that.If you are considering taking this course I highly, highly recommend that you do it. No matter if you are new to shooting or have shot for a while like I have. This will make you better and much more consistent than you were when you walked in the door.Awesome course that everyone that shoots a pistol should take.

Shoot Camp is a must for anyone who likes to shoot handguns! My instructor Brandon did a outstanding job teaching, explaining, and demonstrating the fundamentals and the science behind the safe, accurate, and efficient operation of the firearm! I highly recommend this class.

I was happy with the improvements I made, the things I learned about my gun and the gun safety things you should know when you own a pistol. I highly recommend this course to anyone who owns a pistol.
