Carry Tactics
Join us for an in-depth day of training for the armed individual as we pursue high-level shooting skills from concealment. In this course you will learn how to deploy and shoot your handgun from within arm’s length safely and effectively. This course is also designed to build your confidence in your shooting ability by working on accuracy at speed from different distances and positions, as well as how you can continue your training journey. This class is intended for you to train with the gun and gear you have chosen to use for conceal carry. Please bring the gun and gear that you have chosen to class and let’s get to work.

6 Mar, 2023I highly recommend those with a CPL license to take this class. There are a variety of subjects taught, including how to deescalate situations so no weapons have to be drawn. There is plenty of shooting practice using a variety of scenerios. Brandon taught our class and he was both thorough and helpful and most of all kept the class focused on a safe day.

4 Mar, 2023This was my 4th time attending a class at Fireline. If you have a CCW, or are considering obtaining on, I highly recommend you take some of the classes they offer. There is far more to carrying a pistol than being able to shoot a target. Fireline will teach the what you need to know.

Such a fun way to learn about handling fire arms in a variety of situations. Everyone who owns and those don’t own should take a class or 3 with Fireline. Safety is crucial when handling a gun and you’ll learn that and so on much more. Wonderful day and a great way to meet people.

15 Nov, 2022Yet another outstanding class offering from Fireline. Exercises that I would never have thought of, let alone had any idea how to accomplish, are always presented in a safe environment. Begin step by step with repetition and slowly build up to confidence. From being nose to nose with an assailant and how to create distance, to addressing a threat to your side, to actually drawing and firing while seated between two other real people. The instructor also tried out using random color coded lights for the first time and will hopefully be using them in all future classes. With each change of the color you have to follow the directions assigned to that color. It helped to create a more realistic atmosphere during assessment of an actual self defense shooting incident. One of the best things about these classes are the small size. Whenever someone may have equipment issues you actually get to have impromptu instruction on some other aspect to learn from just by being there. Highly recommend this class if you decide to carry, or if you are still debating about carrying.

23 Feb, 2020Great class, learned lots of good defensive pistol tactics and got to practice them. Great feedback from the instructor for improvement regarding everything we were practicing. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking to improve their pistol handling and defensive abilities.

14 Mar, 2020Excellent course! The skills that are taught are practical and targeted at preparing you for real attacks. These skills, including retention shooting and shooting while moving, are skills I hadn’t learned before in other training courses. The trainer does a great job of breaking the skills down into small steps that you learn one by one, with both dry fire and live fire drills. I highly recommend this course to anyone who carries!

28 July, 2020I highly recommend this class to anyone looking to enhance their defensive handgun skills. We covered so many skills in our six hours it is hard to list. The instructors are extremely knowledgeable in regards to handguns and their use and are blessed with the ability to teach that knowledge to someone like myself and make the experience fun. I look forward to taking more classes from you at Fireline Training.

26 Jan, 2021I definitely recommend, I would give it more stars if I could! Brandon was an excellent instructor, very knowledgeable and covered so many aspects of each topic. This course pushed my comfort level to the next level, but was very safe and guided with Brandon. He does a thorough job breaking it down and teaching it at your level-whatever that may be. I highly recommend and would take this course again! Wear comfortable shoes and prepare to learn a lot, it's 6 hours of on-your-feet fun, no classroom sitting time, and besides a few short breaks, it's all active range instruction.

26 Apr, 2021Carry Tactics 2.0 was an excellent course for those wanting to improve their comfort handling their weapon, drawing under multiple situations and positions, and making sure the accuracy is there. The instructor was very thorough in all the subject matter we covered and fully demonstrated all the drills so there was no confusion as to what we needed to do. Group discussion took place as well as individual assessments and teachings. Definitely recommend this course for everyone with a concealed carry license.

29 Jun, 2021Carry Tactics 2.0 is another outstanding training program offered by Fireline STC. The course description was an accurate outline of what was covered during the training. I believe that anyone that attends will leave with the knowledge and skills to improve their ability to defend themselves. There is zero classroom time during this course as all the content is delivered on the range with explanations / demonstrations of the drills, followed by dry fire and then very safely performed live fire (likely from some positions you have not trained in before). You will receive immediate feedback on your performance and instruction on how to improve. You can then put these learnings to use as the drills are run multiple times and will get pushed just outside of your comfort zone. No need to be hesitant about signing up as you'll walk out the door after the class glad you did!

13 Dec, 2021An excellent class. I feel much more comfortable and competent at defensive shooting from various positions. The instructor was great. I think a great way to get comfortable with handling a firearm is to take classes offered by Fireline.

The drills and tactics that you practice and train on during the day will leave you much more confident and competant. I had a great instructor and he took the time to make sure you've mastered each drill before moving on to the next one. A day well spent at the range!!

This class goes into more depth, with a hands-on instructor to guide and refine every nuance of defensive shooting. Brandon was available between breaks to answer questions regarding gear, technique and more. Highly recommend.
